Details of The Orbit
The Orbit is a new condo, townhouse and single family home community by Cortel Group, currently in preconstruction at 20th Sideroad & 6th Line, Innisfil. The Orbit will establish a new urban design framework for Innisfil, introducing brand new retail and office space, residential housing and so much more.
Over three development phases, The Orbit consists of a series of concentric “squircles” – a combination of squares and circles – that would ripple outwards from the transit centre. A fibre-optic network is available throughout the community, alongside a ridesharing transit system, pedestrian-first streets, and a range of public and private amenities.
The Orbit, will grow over generations to a population target of 150,000 people, creating a dynamic center of activity for visitors and residents alike, appealing to a variety of lifestyle activities that are possible and available in the area. Famed Canadian cottage country destinations, Lake Simcoe and the Muskokas, as well as Collingwood are a stone’s throw away, as is the greater Toronto Area. Offering a rural-urban, all-season experience and easy access to the city.
